Mythology: Fact or fiction

In any culture you will find the same creatures–even if they’re called by different names. There’s my lovely dragons, but also vampires and shapeshifters.

No one has ever been able to explain how primitive civilizations the world over believed in the same creatures. Came up with the same legends.

Yet no one has ever found proof that any of these creatures exist.

Which leaves us with only belief or disbelief.

I think it’s amusing how the more technologically advanced a society gets, the further they drift from the foundational beliefs. Oh, we have science now. Magic can’t possibly exist. It never did.

Yet, I know witches, Wiccans and druids.

They believe in magic. They believe in the creatures of the night and the creatures of the sky.

Native beliefs still hold that every living creature is part of the earth, and the magic of the earth.

Is one right and the other wrong?

Q4U: Is there a way for magic and technology to co-exist?
